Richard Hiram Perez Richard "Rick" Perez is a marketing and communications professional with more than 30 years of experience in advertising, journalism, television production, documentary filmmaking and internet development. During the 1980s, he served as hononorary vice consul for the Republic of Liberia, based in New Orleans, Louisiana, with a jurisdiction encompassing seven, southern U.S. states.

After founding his own advertising and production agency in 1989, Rick became actively involved in the rapidly emerging World Wide Web and in 1994 began development of several interactive systems designed to facilitate the rapid archiving and retrievial of vast amounts of world news and important historical information. These efforts resulted in the launch of NewsTran.Com in February 2001 and MegaMemex.Com in July 2002. Both have proven very popular and continue to deliver news and information to tens of thousands of unique visitors each day.
