Total sales for the fair trade industry in North America in 2004 were $350 million, an increase of 41 % from 2003. Sales in the Pacific Rim for the period were $97.6 million, a growth rate of 22%. Combining the two regions, total sales of the fair trade industry increased 33% during 2004, from $337 million to $448 million.
